Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Procupy Technology Private Limited ("Procupy", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in India with CIN U62013DL2026PTC468030 and its registered office at Innov8 Ras Vilas, Lower Ground Floor, Salcon Rasvilas D-1, Saket, South Delhi, New Delhi 110017, India. They cover the Masterstroke: Cricket Manager app (the "app"), its optional Pro upgrade, and this website (the "site").

By downloading, installing or using the app or the site, you accept these terms and our privacy policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

Who can use the app

You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live. If you are under 18, you may use the app only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf and is responsible for any purchase.

Your licence

The app is licensed to you, not sold. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install the app on devices you own or control and to use it for your own non-commercial entertainment, in line with these terms and the rules of the store you got it from.

You may not:

• copy, modify, sell, rent or distribute the app, or any part of it, except as these terms allow
• decompile, reverse engineer or try to extract its source code, except where the law gives you that right
• get around ads, purchase checks or other technical limits, or use cheats, bots or modified versions of the app
• use the app or the site for anything unlawful, or in a way that harms other players, us or our services

The game and its content

Masterstroke is a simulation. Its players, clubs, leagues and competitions are fictional or simulated, and any resemblance to real people or teams in names, ratings or results is not a statement of fact. Masterstroke is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any cricket board, league, team or player.

We own the app, its code, artwork, text, data and the Masterstroke name and logo, or have the right to use them. Nothing in these terms gives you any right to our trade marks.

Saves, rosters and files you create

Your careers and rosters are saved on your device. You are responsible for keeping them: uninstalling the app, clearing its storage or changing phones can remove them, and we cannot recover a save we never received.

Roster files you create or import are yours to share. When you share one, or send a save to support, you give us and the people you share it with permission to open and use it for that purpose. Do not share files that contain anything unlawful, offensive or that you do not have the right to share.

Pro upgrade and payments

The app is free to download. Pro is an optional upgrade that removes ads and lifts some in-game limits, as described in the app at the time you buy. It is sold as:

• Pro monthly, an auto-renewing subscription. It renews and is charged each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions (or in your Apple Account settings), and Pro stays on until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Pro lifetime, a one-time purchase that unlocks Pro for as long as we offer the app.

Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you pay, and include any taxes the store collects. Payments are processed by Google Play or Apple under their terms, not by us. Any free trial, launch price or promotion is described in the app before you start it, and a trial that converts to a paid subscription will say so.

Refunds and cancellations are covered by our refunds and shipping policy, which forms part of these terms.

Ads

The free version of the app shows ads supplied by Google AdMob and its partners, including rewarded ads you can choose to watch for an in-game benefit. Rewards depend on an ad being available, which varies by place and time, and we do not guarantee one will always be offered.

Weekly Draft challenge and leaderboards

The Weekly Draft is a skill-based game. Anyone can view the week and the table; entering needs Pro, and there is no separate entry fee. There is no cash or other prize of monetary value: rankings and trophies are in-game only. Each Pro purchase gets one attempt a week, and the rules for each week are shown in the app.

To keep the table fair, we may check entries and remove, disqualify or reset any entry, ranking or trophy that we reasonably believe came from cheating, a modified app, an exploit or a bug, without notice.

Updates and changes to the app

We update the app to fix problems, balance the game and add features, and some updates may be required to keep playing. We may change, suspend or end any feature, including the Weekly Draft, or the app as a whole. If we stop offering the app, a lifetime purchase stops being usable along with it, and we will give notice in the app where we reasonably can.

Disclaimer

The app and the site are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for any particular purpose, or that saves will never be lost. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or goodwill, arising from your use of the app or the site. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Pro in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Ending these terms

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Cancelling a subscription is done through the store, as described above. We may suspend or end your access to online features such as the Weekly Draft if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at contact@procupy.com so we can try to resolve it. Any dispute that cannot be resolved this way is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi, without affecting any right you have to bring a consumer complaint where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will give notice in the app or on this site before they take effect. If you keep using the app after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
