What Masterstroke: Cricket Manager and this website collect, why, who processes it, how long it is kept, and how to ask for it to be corrected or deleted.

This policy covers the Masterstroke: Cricket Manager app (the "app") and this website, masterstroke.arcadely.io (the "site"). Both are run by Procupy Technology Private Limited ("Procupy", "we", "us"), registered office Innov8 Ras Vilas, Lower Ground Floor, Salcon Rasvilas D-1, Saket, South Delhi, New Delhi 110017, India, CIN U62013DL2026PTC468030. We are the data fiduciary for the personal data described here.

The short version

  • You do not need an account, and your careers are saved on your phone, not on our servers.
  • The app uses Google Firebase to count how features are used and to report crashes, without your name, email address or save contents.
  • The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, which uses device identifiers and approximate location. Pro removes them.
  • Payments go through Google Play or Apple. We never see your card, UPI or bank details.
  • We do not sell personal data.

Game data on your device

Careers, rosters, settings, achievements and custom team artwork are stored locally on your device. The app does not upload your save files to a server we run. Deleting the app, or clearing its storage, removes this data, except for any copy your phone's own backup service keeps.

Analytics, crash reports and app configuration

We use three Google Firebase services:

  • Firebase Analytics records app interactions such as screens opened, matches played and features used. Events carry team identifiers, counts and game choices, not names, email addresses or save contents.
  • Firebase Crashlytics reports errors and moments when the game stops responding, with the state of the career at the time (league, club, in-game date, game settings) but no names, email addresses or save contents.
  • Firebase Remote Config fetches app settings such as the minimum supported version and temporary feature switches.

These services process app instance identifiers, device model, operating system version, app version, approximate location derived from the IP address, interaction data and diagnostic data. We use the results to find bugs, balance the game and decide what to build next.

Advertising

Where ads are shown, Google AdMob supplies interstitial ads and the rewarded ads you choose to watch. AdMob runs an auction in which other ad networks can bid; at present these are Meta Audience Network, Liftoff Monetize and Unity Ads. Google and these networks may process your device's advertising identifier, IP-derived approximate location, ad views and taps, and performance data for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention, under their own privacy policies.

Where the law requires it, the app asks for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform before any ad is requested. You can change that choice at any time under Privacy & data > Advertising privacy choices in the app. On Android you can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings, and on iOS the app only tracks you if you allow it when asked. Pro members do not see ads.

Purchases

Pro is sold as a monthly subscription and as a one-time lifetime purchase through Google Play Billing, or Apple's App Store where available. The store handles the payment and keeps your payment details. We receive only what is needed to switch Pro on: the product bought, the purchase status and a purchase token. Your Pro status is stored on your device.

Weekly Draft challenge

If you enter the Weekly Draft, the app signs in to Firebase Authentication with an anonymous ID that is not linked to your name, email or Google account. For each entry it sends our servers the club name, crest and colour you pick (built from preset words, with no free text), the country flag you choose to show, your squad picks, your match results and, because entering needs Pro, proof of your Pro purchase, which the server checks with Google Play or Apple. Your entry is identified by a one-way hash of that purchase, not by anything that names you. Firebase App Check, using Google Play Integrity or Apple App Attest, confirms that requests come from a genuine copy of the app.

Your club name, crest, flag, results and rank appear on the public leaderboard for other players to see. Challenge data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore in Mumbai, India.

Roster import, export and sharing, and Send save to support, run only when you choose a file or a destination. The data then goes to the app or person you pick, under that service's terms. Email, Discord, store and policy links open in other apps or in your browser.

When you contact us

If you email us, call us or message us on Discord, we receive what you send: your email address or phone number, your message, and any screenshots or save files you attach. We use it only to answer you and fix the problem you report. Email is handled by Google Workspace.

This website

The site does not use cookies, analytics or advertising. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser, page requested and time) for security and troubleshooting, and keeps them only for a limited period. Pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google when you open them.

Why we process data

We process personal data with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time, or where the law allows it without consent, for example to provide the app you have chosen to use, to answer a request you make, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to meet our legal obligations. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal data. It reaches only:

  • the service providers named above (Google Firebase, Google Cloud, Google AdMob and its bidding partners, Google Play, Apple, Google Workspace and Discord), who process it to provide their services
  • authorities, where the law requires us to disclose it
  • a buyer or successor, if the app or the company is sold or merged, on terms that keep this policy's protections

Some of these providers process data outside India. Where they do, it is under their own security commitments and the transfer rules that apply under Indian law.

How long we keep it

  • Save data stays on your device until you delete it.
  • Firebase keeps analytics data tied to an app instance for no longer than 14 months, and Crashlytics keeps crash reports for 90 days.
  • Weekly Draft entries are kept so that past results and trophies stay visible. You can ask us to delete yours.
  • Support messages are kept as long as we need them to resolve your request and handle any follow-up, then deleted, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

Security

Data sent between the app, the site and our providers is encrypted in transit. Access to the consoles that hold app data is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and if a breach affects your personal data we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other laws that apply to you, you can ask us:

  • for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it
  • to correct, complete or update it
  • to delete it, or withdraw consent for its use
  • to name someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to

Write to contact@procupy.com with "Privacy" in the subject line. Because the app does not ask who you are, we can usually only find data you sent us yourself, such as support emails, or data tied to an ID you can give us. We will tell you if we cannot identify you.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

Masterstroke is a general-audience game and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will also give notice in the app or on this site before it takes effect.
